CRIME update for July 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Leen Police beat area during the month of July. 

Burglary residential = 4

10/07 Radford Boulevard – Copper piping stolen from property.

Delayed report 16/07 – Between 06/06 and 15/06 St Peters Street – Student property entry via open window, laptop and pair of trainers stolen. 

17/07 Midland Way – Student property, damaged caused to furniture, nothing reported stolen.

20/07 Bramcote Walk – Walk in burglary, multiple items stolen.

Criminal damage = 7

01/07 Glentworth Road – Passenger side window smashed overnight.

09/07 Bobbers Mill Road – Road rage incident relating to suspect kneeing the driver door causing a small dent.

12/07 Wordsworth Road – Suspects have kicked front door causing damage.

14/07 Millers Court – Stone thrown at bedroom window causing outer pane to smash.

21/07 Denman Street Central – White female teenager has kicked front door causing damage.

Between 23/07 and 24/07 Auckland Close – Rear windscreen smashed.

24/07 Ilkeston Road – Male suspect has vandalised vehicle.

Theft of motor vehicle = 3

14/07 Ilkeston Road – Theft of motorbike.

18/07 Lismore Close – Between 4am and 7am theft of motorbike.

21/07 Castle Retail Park – 2x suspects attempt theft of motorbike.

Theft from vehicle = 5

Delayed report 06/07 – 30/06 Millers Court – Bag containing laptop, bank cards, cigarettes, driving license, money and glasses stolen from within.

03/07 Bastion Street – Vehicle registration plates stolen off vehicle.

14/07 Prospect Street – Front windows smashed, dashcam, money and black wallet containing bank cards stolen from within.

22/07 Churchfield Lane – Unknown method of entry, items stolen from within.

25/07 Forster Street – Unknown method of entry, items stolen from within.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
