Local Priorities ASB Update

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding ASB, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

We would like to make parents and carers aware that a fire was recently set in private woodland between Beechcroft Close and Ascot Way, North Hykeham.

Thankfully, the fire was extinguished before it could spread and cause significant damage. However, fires in woodland areas can quickly get out of control, particularly during warm and dry weather, posing a risk to wildlife, property and public safety.

Please take a moment to speak with your children about the dangers and consequences of setting fires, and encourage them to stay away from any activity involving fire in open spaces.

The neighbourhood policing team will continue to patrol the woodland.
