To help tackle this, Neighbourhood Watch Network has launched a brand-new Retail Crime module as part of its free Neighbourhood Safety Training programme.

Whether you own a local shop, work in retail, manage a larger business or simply want to support safer high streets, this free online training offers practical advice that can make a real difference.

The Retail Crime module will help you to:

Identify and reduce the risks of retail crime.

Understand how to respond safely and confidently to incidents.

Support the safety and wellbeing of staff and customers.

Work with your community to help create safer shopping environments.

It joins a growing collection of free Neighbourhood Safety Training modules covering:

Safety in Public Spaces

More free training topics are also on the way, giving communities and organisations access to practical skills that help make neighbourhoods safer for everyone.

The training is completely free, takes place online and is open to everyone.

Become a Neighbourhood Watch Affiliated Member
