Stop search drugs arrest in Sale

We would like to inform residents that this week officers from the Sale Neighbourhood Team observed a suspicious vehicle near Sale town centre and carried out a stop of the vehicle, detaining the two occupants.

During a subsequent search, officers discovered drugs within the vehicle and both individuals were arrested. Further enquiries led to the execution of a warrant at a residential address, where a significant quantity of drugs was seized.

Our neighbourhood officers continue to carry out proactive stop searches of both individuals and vehicles on a daily basis to disrupt criminal activity and help keep Sale and the surrounding areas safe.
