Community Speed Watch National All Out Day

A MASSIVE THANK YOU to all of our wonderful Community Speed Watch volunteers for taking part in the Community Speed Watch National All Out Day on July 15th.

The day was a huge success with many roadside sessions held throughout the county. Almost 60 sessions took place with 18739 vehicles driving through an active location with sadly 693 vehicles recorded speeding.

Many groups were supported by their Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT), CREST enforcement officers and police staff from the CREST Process Team also attended and loved meeting you all.

Our Police and Crime Commissioner, Nicolle Ndiweni-Roberts,  visited a group to thank them and support the day.

And a special message from our Chief Inspector Chris Thornhill to you all:

“Derbyshire has just welcomed it’s 100th Community Speed Watch group, and we now have over 900 volunteers across the county.  This is a huge achievement, and I would like to thank everyone who took part in the recent All-out-day, and everyone who contributes to CSW throughout the year”
