Hello Resident I hope this message finds you well. As we move through through August I wanted to share a quick round-up of what’s been happening across our local area, what’s coming up, and how we’re working together to keep our community safe and thriving. July Update 2026 The Willenhall team have had another busy month with 12 arrests by the team for a variety of offences including: 4 - Shop Theft 3 - Robbery 1 - in charge of a vehicle whilst under the influence of alcohol 1 - Bail offences 2 - Recall to prison 1 - Other Police Surgeries/Meetings We've held a number of public meetings and drop-in sessions incluidng police surgeries at The Hive, New Invention ( Willenhall North), The library (Willenhall South) and Queens Lea Community Centre (Short Heath). These were great opportunities for local residents and businesses to come along and discuss their issues and concerns, as well as hear about the work we are doing to tackle some of the key issues in their area. Upcoming Police Surgeries Police Surgeries are open to all members of the Willenhall Community to come and discuss any issues that you may have in your local area.
Patrols & ASB We are aware of an increase in ASB in the Town Centre, Memorial Park, Gough Street and Lichfoield Road areas and we will We will be increasing our patrols in these areas and are working alongside Walsall Council Enforcement Officers and outreach workers from EYES (Engage Youth Empowerment Services) as part of our response in tackling these issues as well as looking at the causes.
You can stay updated on how we are tackling local issues by visiting our dedicated page here. Thank you for your continued support and engagement. Stay safe and take care,
Sgt Paul Smith | ||
