Off-Road Motorbikes

Dear Resident

We have recently had an increasing number of complaints regarding anti-social behaviour in this area, particularly around Harrowby Lane, in relation to off road motorbikes riding being ridden on the roads.

With these types of incidents, it is often difficult to establish the true scale of the problem, mainly because people do not want to get involved, or feel that it is none of their business.

The noise that these types of bikes create and reckless riding is causing alarm, harassment and distress for other residents.  The bikes are also likely not to be road registered and insured and risk being seized by Police. 

We are asking for your assistance and if you have any information or are affected by anti-social behaviour, please contact the Neighbourhood Policing team on 101 or the Housing or Neighbourhood teams at South Kesteven District Council on 01476 406080. When reporting an incident, please try to obtain as much information about the bike (colour/make/model), the person (description/name if known) and addresses the bikes are used from.

Any information you provide will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and will not be divulged to any possible offenders, so please help us to help you achieve a cleaner, quieter and safer community.
