Crack down on E-bikes in Wandsworth

Dear Ward Residents, 

We’ve taken your concerns seriously, and our team worked hard on Tuesday to take more illegal e-bikes off of our roads.

We conducted two stop sites, first of all in Wandsworth Town.

We were there for e-bikes and seized 5, however, we also ended up seizing 9 mopeds (as pictured) for either no insurance or no valid license. 

We’ll continue to take a no tolerance approach to e-bikes which aren’t in line with EAPC standards.
