Neighbourhood Alert: Vehicle Seized and Drugs Offence Detected in Sawbridgeworth

Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team were on patrol in Sawbridgeworth shortly before midnight on Saturday 1 August when they stopped a BMW X1 in Woodward Gardens.

The driver, a man in his 20s from Basildon, was detained and searched. Officers established that the vehicle was uninsured and it was subsequently seized. The driver was also dealt with for possession of Class A drugs.
