Three arrested following bike theft series

Three teenage boys have been arrested and questioned by police following a recent series of moped and motorbike thefts across Norwich.

Two teenagers were arrested yesterday morning (Thursday 6 August), while a third was arrested on 31 July 2026, all on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.

The arrests follow a spate of reported moped and motorbike thefts in Norwich during July and August.

All three boys have been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.

Officers are continuing to investigate and are urging anyone who witnessed anything suspicious, or who may have information or CCTV footage that could assist enquiries, to contact Norfolk Police.
