Working Together with Our Faith Communities

Today, officers from the Green Street Safer Neighbourhood Team met with local faith leaders as part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening community partnerships.

We visited places of worship across the ward to listen, learn, and better understand the support available to local residents, particularly those who may be vulnerable or in need. The discussions highlighted the vital role that faith communities play in promoting compassion, safeguarding, wellbeing, and community cohesion.

We are grateful for the insights, and commitment shown by our faith leaders. By working together, we can continue to identify opportunities to support vulnerable people, encourage positive choices for young people, and build a safer, stronger, and more connected Green Street.
