🚓 Riverside Beat Team | Weekly Update 🚓 It has been another busy week for the Riverside Beat Team, with officers carrying out proactive patrols, enforcement activity, crime prevention work, and community engagement. 🚗 Stolen Vehicle Recovered
PCSO V and Jas carried out enquiries following a report of a stolen vehicle. Thanks to prompt action and an area search, the vehicle was located and recovered the same day. CCTV enquiries have also been completed to support the investigation. 👮 Positive Enforcement & Safeguarding Activity
✅ PC Callum and PC Jess arrested two individuals wanted in connection with burglary offences.
✅ PC Callum and PC Merryn arrested an individual wanted in connection with a serious assault investigation.
✅ PC Callum and PC Merryn assisted with a concern for welfare incident, ensuring a vulnerable person received the appropriate support and safeguarding.
✅ Riverside officers also assisted response officers with incidents outside of their neighbourhood duties 🏪 Business & Community Engagement
PCSO V visited businesses on Welford Road, providing reassurance, discussing local concerns, and sharing crime prevention advice to help keep staff, customers, and premises safe.
PCSO Jas and Phil also carried out engagement visits at the Holiday Inn, providing reassurance to staff and members of the public, while addressing any concerns raised. They also spent time engaging with residents at Pavilion Close, strengthening relationships within the local community.
🚲 Bike Register Events
Successful Bike Register events were held at both Castle Gardens and Leicester Royal Infirmary. Officers worked alongside Dr Bike to help cyclists secure and register their bikes, reducing the risk of theft while providing crime prevention advice 👨👩👧👦 Youth Engagement
PCSO Phil attended the SAPA Play Association, spending time with local children and families, building positive relationships and promoting neighbourhood policing in a friendly and approachable setting. 🤝 Partnership Working
Riverside officers joined Platform Housing at a community engagement event, giving residents the opportunity to discuss local issues and receive support from both housing representatives and police. #inyourcommunity
