Therottam (Chariot Festival)

Manor Park officers attended the Therottam (Chariot Festival) in E12 today.

The procession marks the end of an annual week long celebration marking the victory of Lord Murugan over the forces of evil and his role as a divine protector.

A packed, lively, colourful but above all good natured event, it afforded plenty of opportunity for community engagement, gave officers the chance to sample some vegetarian food and saw the team getting blessed at the Temple at the end of the procession.
