I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety Issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Following consultation with parish councils speeding vehicles was highlighted as a concern, particularly in the warmer months at the weekend around the Chelmarsh and Eardington areas. Today 09/08/2026 speed enforcement action took place in Eardington, as a result of this in excess of 15 vehicles will be reported for consideration of prosecution following excess speeds in a posted 30MPH limit.
