Join the Queens Park & Gilnow Day of Action – 14 August

Hello everyone,

Join us for a Day of Action in Queens Park & Gilnow

Bolton Council’s Enforcement Teams are holding a Day of Action in the Gilnow area on Friday 14 August, from 10am to 12 noon, supported by the Queens Park and Central Community Alliance and the Friends of Queens Park, Park Watch scheme.

The event is a great opportunity for local residents and volunteers to come together, help improve our community and make a positive difference to the area.

What’s happening?

Volunteers will be getting involved in a community litter pick around the Gilnow area, helping to tackle litter and improve the local environment.

 Meeting point: Queens Park Café
 Time: 10am–12 noon
 Date: Friday 14 August

Litter-picking sticks and bags will be provided, so all you need to do is turn up ready to help!

Light lunch afterwards

A light lunch will be provided for volunteers after the litter pick.

If you are planning to join us, it would be really helpful if you could let the organisers know in advance by emailing qpccommunityalliance@gmail.com, so they have an idea of numbers.
