Two Vehicles Seized Following Community Concerns Over the past week, Local Officers PC 14901 Hyams and PC 15565 Waterman have taken positive action to address concerns raised by residents across the Peninsula, resulting in the seizure of two vehicles causing issues within the community. Following information provided by a vigilant local resident, officers located and seized a van that was being driven without valid insurance and without vehicle tax. The vehicle was removed from the road to ensure compliance with road traffic legislation and improve safety for all road users. In a separate incident, officers seized a vehicle under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002 after it was driven in a reckless and anti-social manner on Ratcliffe Highway. The driver was also issued with a Traffic Offence Report for their manner of driving. These proactive measures demonstrate the ongoing commitment of local officers to tackling anti-social behaviour, improving road safety, and responding to concerns raised by the community. We would like to thank residents who continue to provide information and support local policing efforts. Your reports help us take action and keep the Peninsula a safer place for everyone.
