Vehicle crime prevention advice

Over the past week we have had some reports of vehicles broken into across the ward, these thefts are currently being investigated. 

Unfortunately some residents are leaving items inside their vehicles and on show, which in turn, attracts thives, who will then target that vehicle, should they come across it. 

Please take care to secure your vehicle when you are leaving it unattended for any period of time and try to leave it secure as best as you can, by using security devices where possible, and not leaving any valuables behind or on show, as this may attract unwanted attention.
