Hot weather alert

Stay cool in hot weather.

stay hydrated, drink plenty of liquids

try to stay away from the sun between 11am-3pm

If you are going out take water with you, stay in the shade, wear sunscreen and a wide brimmed hat.

On public transport :

carry water with you

have a fan to cool down, battery handheld fans are quite efficient.

if you feel unwell get off at next stop for some fresh air

keep an eye on fellow passengers for signs they may be struggling.

Check on your neighbours, older people and people with health conditions.

If you are worried about your health, or that of somebody you know, ring NHS 111.
