Witness appeal

Good evening Residents,

It has come to our attention that a tree was deliberately set on fire near Steps Hill Car Park on Beacon Road, Ivinghoe.

The incident occurred on the evening of Monday 10 August, and we are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at that time.

We have experienced several incidents of arson across our villages in recent weeks, which is understandably a cause for concern. If you have any information, no matter how small it may seem, we would be grateful if you could come forward and report it, using the incident reference number: 43260414229.

We would also like to take this opportunity to ask parents and guardians to speak with young people about the dangers and serious consequences of setting fires, both to public safety and the local environment.
