Appeal for Information - Residential Burglary |

Dear Wandsworth Common resident,
Police are appealing for information following a burglary that occurred on Thursday 13 August 2026 at approximately 01:45 hours on Tranmere Road at the junction with Waynflete Street SW18. The resident was away on holiday at the time of the incident and upon returning home, discovered that unknown suspect(s) had gained entry to the property by forcing a first-floor window. Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anything suspicious, including persons acting suspiciously, vehicles parked unusually, or anyone carrying property in the vicinity. Residents and businesses are also asked to check any CCTV, doorbell cameras or dashcam footage that may assist with enquiries.
