On Monday 10th I was at Worcester Magistrates Court due to a burglary arrest I made on 23/01/2026. After waiting for the defendant for some time, he didn’t arrive and the case was heard in his absence. The courts have now issues a warrant for this males arrest. If this male gets stopped and checked by any police officer or tries to leave the country he will be arrested and taken to court for sentencing. Good work conducted by CID Kidderminster following up my arrest with an interview and case for Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) to take to court.
On this afternoon a was out again ,to an emergency call, in Stourport and I arrested a suspect of a domestic assault. In company with, your very own eagle eyes, PC PERRY who spotted the male during an area search. He was safely lodged at Kidderminster custody for protection of his partner. Investigation continues with the male on bail conditions to continue protecting the partner.
On Tuesday 11th a male was arrested during a road traffic collision (RTC) I attended on out patch with traffic officers. He was found to be Drink Driving. Don’t risk it, the safest option is to not drink if you think you will be driving.
Later you may have seen Fire arms officers around the Rifle Range area. They were quick and efficient taking control of the area after a concerning report into police. I can confirm no ongoing concerns are believed and it was an isolated incident.
On Wednesday 12th I have been working to prevent the use of a possible cannabis grow. In close communications with the landlord to aid getting the tenant removed from the address in our area and looking at offences. This is part of West Mercia Polices no tolerance on drugs.
West Mercia Police have a YouTube video from Crimestoppers around reporting and how it stays anonymous. Have a look and pass on to friends or family you may feel would benefit.
Did you know: July saw our highest-ever monthly 999 demand on West Mercia, with 20,386 calls received.

24% higher than 2024 That's equivalent to managing an extra 3½ days of 999 demand compared to last year, and an extra week's demand compared to 2024.
Further to the high demand on West Mercia Police in July, personally working at the fire station and the force working closely with the fire service, it is easy to see that they are extremely busy! Police from all over support the fire service when required with road closures and evacuations, to help the brilliant fire fighters to do what they need to do. This includes local to you, seeing increased fires in areas including B&M Kidderminster town centre, White Wicketts park off Franche road and Clent Hills. If you have any information around how these fires are starting please call or contact police, this can be done anonymously if needed. Also be aware of where your children are, if they come home smelling of smoke or if they actually have items on them for starting fires please question them. H&W Fire are seeing a lot of children around the fires on scooters and electric bikes, it is dangerous to be around a wild fire. Some advice from the Fire Service: Countryside fires can get out of hand very quickly, cause extensive damage and put lives at risk. They can also last for several days once a fire takes hold using up valuable fire and rescue service resources which could be needed elsewhere. Every year fire is responsible for the destruction of thousands of acres of countryside, open spaces and wildlife habitat with some fires lasting several days. Tips to help to prevent countryside fires Please take care when in the countryside and alert the Service to fires as early as possible via 999 calls. An early call could mean the difference between a small, easily controllable fire and a widespread, devastating fire.
