🚔 Whitefield Neighbourhood Policing Team at the Opening of the Whitefield Live Well Centre! 🎉

Today, PC 10699 Gleave and PC 18416 Smith were delighted to attend the official opening of the new Whitefield Live Well Centre on Albert Road.

It was fantastic to meet so many local residents, listen to concerns affecting the community, and have positive conversations about how we can continue working together to make Whitefield a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

The biggest hit of the day, however, may have been our smallest visitors! 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️ Children had the opportunity to try on police hats and jackets, sit in the police vehicle, and even activate the blue lights. We think there may have been a few future officers in attendance! 🚓

The new Live Well Centre is a fantastic addition to Whitefield and aims to provide residents with easy access to a range of local support and opportunities, including:

✅ Health and wellbeing support
✅ Employment and skills advice
✅ Digital inclusion assistance
✅ Volunteering opportunities
✅ Community activities and social connections
✅ A welcoming community hub and café where residents can meet and connect

The centre brings together local organisations and services under one roof, helping residents access support closer to home and strengthening community connections.
