I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Vehicle crime (theft from or theft of), which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Regarding the recent car interferences that are happening around the Wenvoe area. We encourage residents to report incidents to SWP due to a lot of these crimes go unreported. From this we can send out CCTV links and footage can be added to each incident and data can be compiled. I also encourage residents to ring 999 if they are notified via Ring systems of criminals trying car doors in an area. This is so officers can attend the locality to see if persons are still in the area and question them.

This is an ongoing problem on most housing estates, the best way to deal with these sorts of crime is target hardening and ensuring vehicles and houses are locked.
