Fatal crash appeal - Otley

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision that took place in Otley.

It happened on Friday 14 August at just before 4.30am on the B1079 Helmingham Road.

A red Volkswagen Polo was travelling away from Otley, while a white Ford Transit van was travelling towards Otley. The two vehicles collided and the male driver of the VW Polo sadly died at the scene.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses, including motorists driving in the area at around the time of the collision with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review the footage for any material that might be of assistance.
