Community Scrutiny Panel – Volunteers Wanted in Llanelli Area

Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn is launching his next Community Scrutiny Panel in Llanelli and is inviting members of the public to get involved. 

The panel will take place in Llanelli on:
📅 9 September, 2026
🕓16:00 – 19:00 

Deadline for applications: 24 August 2026

Panel members will independently review police contact with the public in a transparent and impartial way. Volunteers will scrutinise the quality of police interactions, the ethical use of police powers and the service being delivered to communities. 

The panel acts as an independent public voice, providing views and recommendations to Dyfed-Powys Police to help strengthen transparency, accountability and the public confidence in policing.
