Courier Fraud in Wiltshire

Courier fraud is happening across Wiltshire and the South West.

Last year, 25 courier fraud crimes were reported in Wiltshire, with victims losing more than £155,000. 

Across the South West, 417 reports were recorded between February and May 2025, with losses of almost £2.9 million.

Many victims are older or vulnerable people. The financial and emotional impact can be devastating.

What is Courier Fraud?

Courier fraud usually starts with an unexpected phone call.

The caller may pretend to be:
