Working Together to Improve Chapel Walks |
||
|
We have recently heard concerns from residents about issues in and around the Chapel Walks area of Sale, including reports of suspected drug use and dealing, antisocial behaviour, excessive noise, people regularly visiting the building who are not residents, suspected sales of stolen property, and the misuse of communal areas.
In response, Greater Manchester Police, L&Q and Trafford Council are working closely together to better understand these issues and take appropriate action where necessary. We recognise the impact this behaviour can have on residents and understand it can leave people feeling frustrated, intimidated, and unsafe in their own homes.
Everyone deserves to feel safe and comfortable where they live, and our shared aim is to ensure Chapel Walks remains a welcoming place for residents and visitors alike.
👀 How You Can Help
The information provided by residents is often the most valuable tool we have in identifying issues and taking action. Even if something seems minor, it could help build a bigger picture when combined with information from other residents, CCTV footage, and intelligence from partner agencies.
Useful information might include:
We understand that reporting ASB can feel daunting. Please be reassured that your personal details will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to the person or people involved. Information provided by residents is treated sensitively and helps partner agencies build a clearer picture of what is happening within the area.
Please do not put yourself at risk by confronting anyone or carrying out your own investigations. Instead, report any concerns to the appropriate agency and allow us to deal with the matter safely.
