MAN CHARGED WITH DRUG OFFENCES

A man is due to appear in court charged with drug offences in Cannock.

Rhys Bloomfield, 23, from Walsall, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, crack cocaine; possession with intent to supply class A drugs, crack cocaine; and possession of a class B drug, cannabis.

It comes as officers on patrol carried out a stop-and-search in the area on Tuesday (18 August).

Bloomfield remains in police custody ahead of a court hearing due at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Thursday 20 August).
