Further Dispersal Notice Issued Following Continued Incidents of Anti-Social Behaviour in Codsall Following the Section 34 Dispersal Notice authorised for the weekend commencing 14 August 2026, Staffordshire Police has continued to receive reports of incidents involving large groups of young people in the Codsall area. As a result, a further Section 34 Dispersal Notice was authorised and came into effect at 18:00 hours on Wednesday 19 August 2026, remaining in force until 18:00 hours on Friday 21 August 2026.
At approximately 18:45 hours, just 45 minutes after the Dispersal notice came into force, Staffordshire Police received reports of a disturbance involving several individuals, including a number of youths, at Codsall Village Hall. Following Police attendance and enquiries, five individuals were issued with directions to leave the Codsall and Bilbrook area and not return for a period of 48 hours. Failure to comply with this direction may result in arrest. Those directed to leave included one adult and four juveniles. Staffordshire Police remains committed to tackling anti-social behaviour and criminal activity within our communities. Officers will continue to monitor the situation closely and take appropriate enforcement action where necessary. Further dispersal powers may be authorised over the coming weekend should circumstances require.

For non-emergency incidents, please contact Staffordshire Police on 101 or report online via the Staffordshire Police website. In an emergency, or if a crime is in progress, please call 999 immediately.
