Distraction Burglary

Hi everyone 

Residents are asked to stay vigilant following a recent distraction burglary in the local area. An elderly resident was targeted so please be cautious if approached by unexpected contractors at your door. Always check who they are and why they are there. If you are not expecting anyone, just send them away and do not let them in. If they trying to get in to visit your neighbours living in your building ,  tell them to contact them directly.

We would encourage residents to look out for elderly or vulnerable neighbours , particularly those who live alone , as they sometimes do not know how to report their traumatic experience .
