Bike thief arrested in Richmond

We know that bike theft is a real concern for people in your area, and it's something we're taking seriously. Tackling cycle theft remains a priority for us, and we're working hard to catch offenders and keep our communities safe.

The video below shows a recent arrest after a bike was stolen on Whitton High Street and is a great example of the public and police working together. In this case, a quick-thinking cyclist lent an officer their bike so they could continue their pursuit of a suspect. It's a brilliant example of how a small act can make a big difference!
