🐝 Bee in the Loop | Chinatown #ASB

Today, officers were out and about in Chinatown during the early hours following concerns raised by residents & business owners regarding large gatherings around the pagoda area and associated anti-social behaviour.

During patrols, officers encountered approximately 20 individuals engaging in ASB. Those present were spoken to, stop searched where appropriate under S23 Misuse of Drugs Act and, following police intervention, were required to leave the area to prevent any further disruption to residents and businesses.

Our neighbourhood team will continue to carry out high-visibility patrols in Chinatown and take positive action to address concerns raised by the community.
