Speed Checks from Local Officers |
||
Community Speed Enforcement UpdateYour local Beat Officers have been carrying out regular speed enforcement checks across the Singleton, Stanhope, Washford Farm and Beaver areas of Ashford in response to community concerns and as part of ongoing efforts to keep our roads safe. During these proactive patrols, Traffic Offence Reports have been issued to drivers found exceeding the speed limits within these areas. Officers have also provided roadside advice and education to drivers regarding the importance of safe and responsible driving. Road safety is everyone's responsibility. Whether you are a driver, cyclist, motorcyclist or pedestrian, we all have a part to play in ensuring our roads remain safe for those who use them and helping to protect our communities from preventable harm. Road Safety AdvicePlease remember: Reporting ConcernsIf you have concerns about speeding, dangerous driving or other road safety issues in your area, please report them to Kent Police. Information from the public helps us identify problem locations and deploy resources where they are needed most. You can report non-emergency issues online or by calling 101. If a crime is in progress or there is an immediate risk to life, always call 999. Thank YouWe would like to thank the public for their continued support. It has been greatly appreciated and certainly noticed by officers whilst conducting these checks. We have received many positive comments from residents and pedestrians who have taken the time to stop and speak with us in person when seeing officers out on patrol. Your engagement, support and information are invaluable in helping us keep Singleton, Stanhope, Beaver and the wider Ashford community safe. Together, we can continue to make our roads safer for everyone. Ashford Beat Team 🚔
