From Bike to Cell 🚔🏍️

We’ve recently received a number of reports regarding the Anti-social use of off-road motorcycles on public footpaths and open spaces. 

Over the weekend, Rochester officers have been continuing their proactive efforts to tackle this issue where dedicated patrols have produced the following positive results:

✅ Rider arrested after riding a bike at excessive speed in an anti-social manner

✅ Multiple Traffic Offence Reports in relation to using motor-vehicles without insurance

✅ Multiple Section 59 warnings were issued for anti-social vehicle use. These warnings provide a clear reminder that continued nuisance riding may result in vehicles being seized if further offences are committed within the next 12 months

✅ A wealth of useful intelligence gathered to support future enforcement activity

We know the impact irresponsible driving and nuisance vehicles can have on our communities, and tackling these issues remains a priority. The information gathered during these patrols will help officers continue to identify offenders and target areas where concerns are being reported.
