Here's our weekly round up of what's been happening in the Tyburn area from the Tyburn Neighbourhood Policing Team:

On the evenings/nights of Friday 21st August and Saturday 22nd August Tyburn police officers have carried out targeted patrols on the Erdington Hall area of Tyburn. This is following numerous reports of anti-social and suspicious behaviour in the area. The results were incredibly positive and the results included:

2 vehicles seized for no tax

1 fixed penalty and seizure of a vehicle for no insurance

1 vehicle failed to stop for officers, investigation in progress

1 stop and search of a person

1 stop and search of a vehicle

1 cannabis seizure, out of court disposal served

3 stolen vehicle registration plates recovered

A large number of intelligence reports gained from the patrols

Further targeted patrols will take place at unannounced locations and dates and times. If anybody would like to tell us about any further anti-social behaviour issues in the Erdington Hall area please message us as a reply to this message on WMNow.

- Tyburn PCSOs have also seized an untaxed vehicle from the Castle Vale area at the end of last week and have been carrying out targeted patrols at areas of reported anti-social behaviour to deter any further issues.

- Tyburn officers have interviewed and charged a male for theft.

- Tyburn officers have also charged a nuisance beggar for breaching a Community Protection Notice.

Tyburn officers and PCSOs along with Kingstanding officers and PCSOs attended the Castle Vale Fun Day yesterday at Farnborough Fields, Farnborough Road, Castle Vale. The day was a big success! It was nice to meet so many local residents in a nice and friendly atmosphere. Lots of people came to speak to us and met one of our police dogs and her officer handler. Addison our police dog Spaniel loved all the fuss and attention.

A PURSE WAS HANDED IN TO OFFICERS YESTERDAY AT THE FUN DAY. IF ANYBODY HAS LOST A PURSE OR KNOWS ANYONE WHO HAS PLEASE CONTACT MYSELF AS A REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE PURSE AND THE CONTENTS FOR SAFE RETURN TO THE OWNER.
