⚠️ Received a Survey or Questionnaire by Email? |
||
|
Many organisations, including the NHS, utility companies, mobile phone providers and local authorities, use specialist companies to send surveys on their behalf. This means a genuine questionnaire may come from a different email address than the organisation itself. Unfortunately, criminals know this and sometimes send fake surveys designed to steal personal information, passwords, or financial details. Before you click, remember your ABC: ✅ A - Never ASSUME Just because an email looks genuine doesn't mean it is. ✅ B - Never BELIEVE Be suspicious of unexpected emails, especially if they: • Ask for personal, financial or security information ✅ C - ALWAYS CONFIRM Before clicking any links: • Check whether you were expecting the survey 🏥 NHS surveys: Some genuine NHS patient surveys are carried out by external companies. If you're unsure, contact the NHS service directly using details from official correspondence or the NHS website. 📧 Think it's a phishing email? Forward it to report@phishing.gov.uk and then delete it. Report suspicious text messages by forwarding them to 7726 (SPAM). Remember: Never Assume. A two-minute check could prevent your personal information falling into the hands of criminals.
