Heatwave 2.0- Open Water Swimming

Dear Resident 

The weather is about to heat up again. We have seen a high influx of young people and children swimming in open water. 

We express our concerns widely, and ask that you refrain from doing so. Even if you are a strong swimmer ordinarily.

We are not aware of what lies under the water and the unknown risks such as things lying beneath, cold water shock and the current. 

Parents, please ensure that your children are aware of the dangers surrounding swimming in open and uncontrolled waters.
