We hope you are well. Here is an update regarding crime and Police activity in Burbage this week.
Reported Crime and Appeals

Report of a suspicious male between The Meadows and Pickering Place/Woodland Avenue around 21:00-21:30 on Saturday the 22nd of August. If you have any CCTV of a male holding a white football during this time, please get in touch. 26000504888 Darren.stretton@leics.police.uk
Patrols, Police Activity and local engagement
Vehicle stop check completed including stop search following sighting of suspicious activity vehicle related, at 02:45 on London Road.
We are completing work around reports of suspicious activity and drug activity in the Atkins Way area, Pickering Place and Tilton Road.
Patrols ongoing including local parks such as Tilton Road, Brookside/East Close garages, Burbage Common and the three pots areas.
Crime prevention and issues to be aware of
We will be holding a targeted crime prevention event at the Burbage Parish council Millennium Hall from 12:00-16:00 on Sunday the 6th of September, so please pop along. Get ready for the darker nights and ensure your property is secure. A range of items sold at cost such as fence spikes, PIR alarms, shed alarms and much more.
Scam notice from resident to raise awareness. Continued Email scams going around include “gamer” scams where they will say your account is banned, hacked or needs verification. With the schools returning this week, we will be completing patrols, as and when we are in a position to do so. We continue to work with schools and request motorists be courteous of other road users, residents and pedestrians.
