The anti-social and dangerous use of off-road bikes can have a significant impact on our community. Residents have reported concerns relating to noise nuisance, intimidation, damage to public spaces, and the safety risks posed to pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users. I would like to reassure you that the local Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) is actively working to address this issue. We are conducting targeted patrols in known hotspot locations, gathering intelligence from the community, and working alongside specialist police resources to identify those responsible. Where offences are identified, we will pursue appropriate enforcement action, including the seizure of vehicles, prosecution of offenders, and the use of powers available under road traffic and anti-social behaviour legislation. Your information is vital in helping us tackle this problem effectively. If you witness the use of off-road bikes being ridden illegally, please report the matter to us. When making a report, any details such as descriptions of riders, vehicle colours, distinguishing features, locations, times, photographs, or video footage can greatly assist our investigations. If you see an offence taking place and there is an immediate risk to life or danger to the public, please call 999. For non-emergency incidents, please report via 101 or through the West Mercia Police website.
