Today, officers from the Stanley Safer Neighbourhood Team were positioned on King's Road outside Chelsea Town Hall between 12pm and 2pm, engaging with residents, local businesses, and visitors to the area as part of our ongoing commitment to keeping the community safe.
Throughout the afternoon, officers provided crime prevention advice on a range of topics, including theft prevention, personal safety, burglary reduction, and how to protect against common scams and fraud. We spoke with many members of the public, offering reassurance, answering questions, and discussing local concerns affecting the neighbourhood.
These opportunities allow us to build stronger relationships with our community, better understand the issues that matter most to residents, and provide practical advice to help people reduce their risk of becoming victims of crime. We were pleased to have a number of positive conversations and received valuable feedback from those who stopped to speak with us.
Visible policing and community engagement remain a key priority for the Stanley Safer Neighbourhood Team. By being present and accessible, we hope to encourage residents to report concerns, share information, and work with us to make the area an even safer place to live, work, and visit.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop and speak with us today. We look forward to carrying out more community engagement events and crime prevention initiatives in the coming weeks and months. If you see us out on patrol, please do not hesitate to come and say hello or raise any issues you may have. Together, we can continue to make a positive difference in our neighbourhood. | ||
