Upcoming flooding drop-in sessions for residents in Wigan

Residents who live in Hindley, Platt Bridge and Abram are invited to meet the Environment Agency and partners to find out more about proposals to reduce flood risk in the area.

The project team is developing options to better protect homes, businesses and community infrastructure from future flooding and wants to hear local views and experiences before a preferred option is selected. 

Staff from the Environment Agency, Wigan Council and partner organisations will be available to answer questions and discuss the proposals on the following dates:

The information on display will be the same at both events, so residents can attend whichever session is most convenient.
