Queen’s Park Gardens Weapon Sweep by local Police And Volunteer

Dear Residents of Harrow Road,

Local Safer Neighbourhood Team officers carried out a weapon sweep in Queen’s Park Gardens alongside community volunteers ahead of the Notting Hill Carnival. Officers engaged with local residents and park users, explaining the purpose of the operation and reassuring them that the sweep was being conducted to help keep the community safe and reduce the risk of violence. The engagement was well received and provided an opportunity to build positive relationships with the local community.
