Theft of cycles - Copthall Road West - Can you help?

Crime number: 01/7955127/26

Between 1300hrs on Saturday 15 August and midday on Monday 17 August, a Canyon and an Orbea mountain bike were stolen from the back garden of a property on Copthall Road West on the even numbered side between St.Georges Drive and Derwent Avenue.

The properties back on to the land adjoining the River Pinn and it is believed that the thieves gained access via this route.

One of the bikes was a frame only, so this increases the likelihood that a vehicle was parked nearby.

Action required please:

Please check CCTV and video doorbells for any triggers during this period, especially in the hours of darkness, which may revel further information.

The timescale is wide, so you may simply recall seeing something unusual, or suspects in the woods etc.

A possible vehicle may have been parked over the bridge into Copthall Road East, or close to Derwent Avenue.

Any and all information please to the police on 101, after which please inform your local Neighbourhood Watch team at ickenhamnhw@gmail.com who are liaising with the local police SNT on this case.
