Met Engage in Court field Rise and Hawes Lane on 26.08.2026

The West Wickham local police team’s, PCSO David, has been out today 26.08.32026 knocking on doors, both in Hawes Lane and Court Field Rise. Sign posting people to the Met Engage platform. 

This is turning out to be a fantastic opportunity to engage with Residents about their home and vehicle security, pointing out areas where slight improvements can be made.

Example: just by the placing of a very decreet “beware of the dog” sign on a side gate, entrance or wall can sometimes deter any unwanted attention. Although a kind explanation to your immediate neighbour or your postman or woman when putting up these signs maybe very welcome!

Unattended vehicles.
