Appeal to Residents: Reports of Catapults Being Used Against Wildlife |
||
|
We have seen an increase in reports concerning the use of catapults within our communities, particularly incidents involving wildlife being targeted and injured. Kent Police takes these reports extremely seriously. The deliberate harming of wildlife is a criminal offence and incidents of this nature will be treated as a priority. If you witness anyone using a catapult against wildlife, or in any manner that places people, animals, or property at risk, please call 999 immediately while the incident is taking place. Reporting at the time gives officers the best opportunity to respond quickly and identify those responsible. If it is safe to do so, please try to obtain: Please do not put yourself at risk when gathering information. The support of our local communities is invaluable in helping us identify offenders and protect wildlife. We would like to thank residents for their continued vigilance and for taking the time to report incidents to us. Together, we can help keep our communities safe and protect the wildlife that shares our local environment. Thank you for your continued support. | ||
