Peace Walk 30/08/2026 From al Madina Masjid to Ilford Islamic Centre Albert Road.

On SUNDAY 30/08/2026 the peace walk will be taking place on Ilford Lane. The peace walk will be starting at the Barking Mosque 

Al Madina Mosque Victoria Road Barking at 1400hrs, The only vehicle which will be on Ilford Lane will be the dedicated vehicle parading on Ilford Lane to Albert Road Community centre. There will also be staff and volunteers from Albert Road community Centre to assist with surrounding roads for vehicles who will attempt to come on to Ilford Lane which will be closed for 3 hours. The peace walk will take approximately 3 hours. Please come to the peace walk and enjoy the time with the communities. The Metropolitan Police Safer Neighbourhood Teams Clementswood SNT and the Loxford SNT  will embrace with all faiths to assist with  their celebrations. 

On Clementswood SNT ward we work closely with all faiths PCSO 7002EA ALEEM is dedicated to all the faith venues. On Sunday 30/08/2026 we will all have a chance to engage together to celebrate the birth of our prophet Mohammed (pbub) with peace love and unity ameen. PCSO 7002EA will be assisting the the peace walk. Please come and say Aslamulakum and meet your local Police Community Support officer.
