🚨 Update - Benty Heath Lane, Willaston 🚨

Thank you to everyone who responded to and shared our recent appeal regarding suspicious activity on Benty Heath Lane.

Following enquiries, we have now been able to confirm that the two males involved were genuine workmen carrying out work in the area for Openreach.

Whilst no criminal offences have been identified, it is understandable that concern was caused when the males entered residential properties without first identifying themselves or, as in some of the reports received, provided any form of identification when challenged.

Contact has since been made with Openreach, and feedback will be provided to the workers regarding the importance of clearly identifying themselves before entering private property to help prevent unnecessary alarm to residents.
