Here’s a quick update on drugs dealing crime in your area, please be reassured that we’re taking this seriously and are here to help. A big thank you to everyone who continues to report crime and anti-social behaviour to us. Your information helps us carry out targeted, intelligence-led patrols and address the issues that matter most to our community.
As part of overtime patrols funded to tackle local priorities, PC Roberts and PC Sukhnandan from the Neighbourhood Policing Team were conducting strategic patrols around Tavistock Gardens, W11, at approximately 1300hrs on 28/08/2026, when their attention was drawn to what appeared to be a drug deal between two males.
The officers intervened, leading to the arrest of two individuals. One male was observed by officers conducting what was believed to be a drug transaction and was subsequently found in possession of a large number of wraps believed to contain Class A drugs, namely heroin and crack cocaine. A second male was arrested for possession offences.
This is an excellent example of proactive neighbourhood policing and officers acting on what they see while out on patrol.
We are also working closely with RBKC to address ongoing concerns around Tavistock Gardens and the surrounding area, ensuring a coordinated approach to tackling drug-related activity, anti-social behaviour and issues affecting local residents.
In a separate incident, at approximately 2100hrs on Friday 28/08/2026, officers stopped a vehicle on Blenheim Crescent at the junction with Kensington Park Road, W11. The driver was arrested after officers located 78 nitrous oxide canisters within the vehicle.
Drugs and Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) remain one of Colville Ward's three priorities. We will continue to carry out intelligence-led patrols, targeted operations and enforcement activity to disrupt drug misuse, drug dealing and the associated nuisance behaviour that impacts our community.
