Appeal for Information following Car Theft

We are appealing for information following a Car Theft in Tamworth.

On Saturday 29th August 2026 at approximately 22:50, a 24-plate Grey Hyundai Tucson was stolen from Lichfield Road, Tamworth. The vehicle crashed on Wilnecote Lane near to the junction of Tamworth Road at approximately 23:45. The suspect was reported to have fled the scene towards Hamble, Belgrave. They are described as a male, slim build wearing a baseball cap and a dark hoodie.

We are keen to speak to anyone that may have seen the vehicle driving around the Tamworth area between the times above and may have information or footage which could help officers.
