Seized Bike

On 25th August 2026, following information provided by members of the public to Police regarding an illegal motor bike causing nuisance in Kinsley, officers from Wakefield District Off-Road Bike Team attended the playing fields off Gorton Street. Utilising powers under the Police Reform Act 2002 and the Road Traffic Act 1988, they were able to locate and seize the vehicle and thereby preventing it disrupting the local community any further.

This pit bike was seized as a direct result of the information provided by the public to the Off-Road Bike Team who will act confidentially upon any community intelligence provided which identifies the offender or the whereabouts of the vehicle.
